UK site
bestpac UK builds on over 100 years of experience in the production of paper-based packaging and specialises in the production and distribution of paper bags in the food and non-food sectors. In addition to standardised bread and bakery bags, the site also produces individually printed and customised paper bags - e.g. with individual marketing messages, designs or barcodes.
The production plant is certified according to the BRC Global Standard for Food ("Global Standard for Food Safety") and has received an AA rating, the highest possible rating for the safety, quality and operational criteria that must be met in the food sector. Our bread and bakery bag production machines are located in a separate, hygiene-controlled area of the factory and each machine can produce 1,000,000 bags per day.
The UK site also focuses on a sustainable and environmentally friendly production process and aims to ensure that our paper-based packaging plays a part in protecting our environment. Materials are sourced from a sustainably approved supply chain, including paper supplied by PEFC and FSC certified suppliers. All paper packaging products are made from approved and certified materials and are biodegradable, sustainable and recyclable.
